The Rules (Hey, we gotta have 'em)

1) Respect the property and everything on it. This is a home, and should feel like it when we leave.
2) The animals and the garden are elements of neighbors' BUSINESSES. It's great to look and appreciate, but don't mess with them.
3) No Dogs, No Glass, No Fires. You know the drill.
4) No fires or grills in the field--keep flames in designated areas.
5) Keep away from the electric fence. It will shock you.
6) The house is for use of staff, musicians and invited guests of Mary and Karl ONLY.
7) Please be sure your campsite is clear of debris when you leave (help with the rest of the grounds would be appreciated as well!).
8) No drum circles after 11pm. The drums carry right over to the neighbors across the valley!
9) By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to these rules and agree to the liability waiver.

Liability Waiver

Purchase and/or use of a ticket to THE BROTHERS MCCANN REUNION FESTIVAL (HERIN REFERRED TO AS THE "EVENT") is a free and voluntary agreement by the PARTICIPANT to UNCONDITIONALLY RELEASE the organizers of the EVENT and Mary Trerice and Karl Bissex (HEREIN REFERRED TO AS THE "OWNERS") OF ALL LIABILITY according to the terms below TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY VERMONT LAW.

PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees and each of them FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST they may incur arising out of or related to the EVENT WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the promoters, participants, sanctioning organizations or any subdivision thereof, property owners, safety officials, rescue personnel, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, OWNERS of premises used to conduct the EVENT, consultants and others who give recommendations, directions, or instructions or engage in risk evaluation or loss control activities regarding the premises or EVENT and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, all for the purpose herein referred to as “Releasees,” FROM ALL LIABILITY TO THE PARTICIPANT, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFORE ON ACCOUNT OF INJURY TO THE PARTICIPANT OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN DEATH OF THE PARTICIPANT ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of or related to the EVENT whether caused by the NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise.

PARTICIPANT HEREBY agrees that this Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement extends to all acts of negligence by the Releasees, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Vermont in which the Event is conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

The EVENT and OWNERS shall have the right to confiscate or revoke the privileges conferred by a ticket/pass or other invitation where in the sole judgment of either of their representatives PARTICIPANT: 1) acts in any manner that endangers or may endanger the safety of PARTICIPANT or any other person; 2) violates the law; 3) engages in misconduct or creates a nuisance. Such acts may also be prosecuted as a criminal offense. A ticket/pass is NOT TRANSFERABLE and CANNOT BE RESOLD. A ticket/pass may be confiscated with no re-issue if in the sole judgment of an EVENT representative it is used in a fraudulent manner. Reissued passes may be subject to a replacement fee.
